The game also features a “Radio” feature, which allows players to play MP3 and OGG files. There are four map DLCs that expand the game to more countries and locations, and multiple other trucks and trailer DLCs. The base game features 71 cities in twelve different countries, over twenty different types of cargo, and over fifteen fictional European companies. Money won in this game can be used to repair or purchase new vehicles, recruit NPC drivers. Once the player gets money or borrows bank loans, he/she will buy a tractor, purchase a garage and start earning more money by carrying freight with a vehicle rather than being just a driver. The player may only take what is considered quick employment at first – such positions require the supply of hired drivers for a shipping firm for a supplied vehicle, including all expenses (fuel, road tolls, ferry crossings).
The players pick the location of their HQ in each of the cities of the game world.
